Global multinational gaming social handles have the tendency to sound and feel like … global multinational social handles.
When we took over the Intel Gaming social feeds, we were bound to change that. Realizing a need to add some personality and humanity to their somewhat dry channels, we noticed a curious contemporary gaming trend that was spiraling through the gaming community involving ducks. Little rubber ducks dressed as gaming characters. Quickly sensing that this was a chance to mobilize our community around a fun engagement, we pulled together the most exciting way to promote adorably dressed polyurethane waterfowl: a battle to the death tournament.
This is Duck Fight Club.
Creating a bracket and tournament, we rallied the community through polling and one on one matches spanning across multiple social channels. Each epic match was accompanied by in house crafted animation that brought the absurdity, humor and gaming culture relevance of the tournament to life.
